As I look around the deli, watching the diligent immigrants working here brought on today’s thought of the day. And the more I notice immigrants in host countries, the more I realize how silly it is that there is so much discrimination/xenophobia … look at who’s making your food and cleaning up your crap! Not only should you get over yourself and the minor differences you perceive between yourself and those who you think you’re ethnically better than, but you should also go thank them for making that yummy meal for which you frequent to your favorite lunch locale. Circumstances are often very different; humanity is often not.
